Terms of Service
Last updated 24 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms cover the supply of WordPress hosting, managed services and website builds by NM Web Services, a trading name of Notre Marque Ltd, company number 12466366. By purchasing a plan or ordering a website you agree to them. These terms are for business customers.
2. Our services
- DIY WordPress hosting: fast, secure infrastructure that you manage yourself. We keep the platform running; you manage your own site.
- Managed WordPress hosting: we also look after updates, backups, security and support, as described on the managed hosting page.
- Website build with managed hosting: a five-page website built for you, included with a 12-month managed hosting term.
3. What managed hosting includes
Managed hosting includes daily backups, automatic updates, SSL, staging, security monitoring, uptime checks, a monthly report and small changes on a fair-use basis. Fair use means small edits such as text, prices, contact details, image swaps and simple content blocks, normally taking under about 30 minutes each in a month. Larger projects are quoted separately before we start.
4. Website builds
The website build is included with a 12-month managed hosting term at £49.99 plus VAT per month, which is £599.88 plus VAT for the 12 months. There is no separate build fee and nothing is payable before the build starts.
The build covers the pages agreed in the brief (there is no fixed page limit), a custom theme built by us from our own components, a design review before the build, mobile and accessibility checks, SEO basics, analytics and cookie consent, migration of your existing content, one round of changes after the first full build, and launch. It does not include copywriting, logo or branding work, photography, extra pages, online shops, booking systems, custom tools, domain purchases, third-party subscriptions or email hosting.
We aim to launch about ten working days after we have your content and the design is approved. That is an estimate, not a guarantee.
5. Minimum term and early termination
The website offer has a 12-month minimum term. If you end the agreement before the end of that term, you must either pay the outstanding balance for the remaining months in one payment, or continue the monthly payments until the 12 months are complete. We may suspend hosting and withhold handover of the site until any outstanding balance is settled. After the first 12 months the agreement continues month to month, and either side may end it with 30 days’ written notice.
6. What is not included
Domain name renewals, third-party subscriptions such as premium plugin or theme licences, custom development projects, marketing, advertising, SEO campaigns, social media management, and design or branding work are billed separately or not offered.
7. Payments and billing
Plans are billed monthly or annually through our reseller checkout. Prices exclude VAT. Hosting-only plans can be cancelled at any time, and the 30-day money-back guarantee applies to new hosting plans. Late payment may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
8. Support
Support is by email and phone during working hours, with a target response by the next working day. We do not provide out-of-hours or emergency cover.
9. Ownership and handover
Your content stays yours, and you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use it. The theme and code remain ours until the minimum term is complete and payments are up to date, after which we transfer the site files to you on request. You own your domain name.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful activity, spam, or anything that damages the platform or other customers.
11. Our responsibility
We take reasonable steps to keep the platform secure and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
